RELEASE: Belect a.k.a D clean Rapper quits Secular Rap. Drops mixtape titled "CHURCH 777"

B elect, rapper, writer and artist extraordinaire crowns
his rap side as it
is known to us with a strange twist this April. In a very
leftist or should I
say “right turn”, B elect releases a 7 track mix tape
titled Church 777,the
last offering.
This is a close follow up to his rapcore album “hard
listeners which
dropped late last year, accompanied with some of the
more creative rap
videos you will see in these parts.
B elect and his sidekick Brotha Lee while daring into
new terrains with
upcoming shows “Real rap Tv and an accompanying
radio show challenge the
status quo of creative video making with the videos
for his tracks ‘bring
back the musik’ and the more recent star-studded
“love and war featuring
soap actress Ina Erizia and award winning rapper M-
Thrill.
A lot are taken off balance by this preacher approach
style to his rap
since from his days with the thorobreds(illbliss and
Obiwon along with
elajoe) he has been more associated with straight up
typical hip hop flow
and topics, but then we might have missed something
as B elect’s 27 track
release, hard listeners” is a well documented scape of
lyrical flow on
beats and hip hop production which reflect classic hip
hop /rap albums.
In his words, Church 777 is a project dedicated to
Easter and will be a
quarterly offering every year from his stables
henceforth. Topically, churchis intense and with his
tilt,
toungues are already wagging about B going the way
of other gospel music
associated rappers like BOUQUI and rooftop emcees.
Church features seven artistes was recorded within
seven days and contains
seven tracks hence Church 777. The album contains
material produced by b
elect and co-produced by upcoming producer
dhecade as well as louis stoute
and features rappers protek,rhapsody,lifeline,Naija
U.S. based diva
Afroqueen(ufoma),EVG and more.
As we prepare for this offering from this talented
rapper and producer, we
anticipate how the service would be how many would
be converted by this
re-newed direction from the Elected one. We are
listening…..
